Which perfumes suit spring?
Spring calls for perfumes lighter than winter’s but with a little more body than summer’s: florals, greens and light fruity scents. The weather changes during the day, and it’s good for your perfume to change with it.
Three families for spring
- White flowers. Jasmine, orange blossom, magnolia, lily. Bright and feminine, right from morning to evening.
- Greens. Leaves, cut grass, tea, bergamot. They smell fresh and suit the office.
- Light fruity. Pear, red berries, lychee, peach. Sweet without feeling heavy.
From winter to spring
If you love warm perfumes with vanilla or musk, you don’t have to give them up. Look for one with the same base but a floral or fruity top. That way you keep your style with a lighter result.
Morning and evening
In the morning, while it’s still cool, a green or citrus perfume. In the evening, a floral one with a warm base. A body mist in your bag helps you refresh your scent during the day without making it heavy.
